PISCO is a participating member node for the Data Observation Network for Earth (DataONE). DataONE enables new innovative environmental science through a distributed framework and sustainable cyberinfrastructure that meets the needs of science and society for open, persistent, robust, and secure access to well-described and easily discovered Earth observational data.
As a member node, PISCO's data manager maintains a data catalog containing thousands of data-rich files. These files, including metadata, are replicated daily throughout the the DataONE network to greatly expand the ways in which people can access the data and provide long-term data preservation.
There are a few ways to search for data:
- Click on the "member node" list on the left and select "PISCO MN", which will provide all PISCO data in the catalog
- Type in search parameters to narrow-down your search, such "intertidal", "mooring", "subtidal", etc.
- You can also use the map to focus on specific geographic areas
