The Science of Marine Reserves Project is an international collaboration to study, synthesize, and share the scientific information about marine reserves and other types of marine protected areas around the world.
WHAT DOES THE SCIENCE SAY?
There are five versions: a U.S. version in English and Spanish, an international version in English, a Latin American and Caribbean version in English and Spanish, and a European and Mediterranean version in English. The booklets are accompanied by a 15-minute video first released in 2002.The materials are designed to be used by natural resource managers, government officials, scientists, and the interested public.
